Poi Passion 8 Week Beginners course Brighton

Poi Passion are once again taking bookings for the very popular Beginners course. Each session is one hour long for six weeks. Moves covered include:
forward and backwards butterfly,
Forward and backwards angel and bird,
Forward back wards weave ,
Forward and back wards corkscrew,
Forwards and back ward crossing and slamming ,
Split poi movements
Helicopter
forward and backwards Giant windmills

Hello to all spinners, Jugglers, Stilt Walkers, Fire Performers, Bottle Flarers... you get it any one who is in to anything.
My name is August I work at the Mitre Hotel in Greenwich, I have Managed to talk my boss into letting us have a weekely gathering (every Wednesday) in our function room I am also in talks trying to get acces to the village market directly opposite the pub/hotel which will by perfect for fire performers.
Inside we have a newly installed sound system (so if anyone wants to bring CD's or instruments and have a jam feel free!), a bar just for us, a projector screen for... well just cool sh*t to have in the background, 4 experienced perfomers to help with staff, poi, fire, juggling, stilts etc, a shop in house selling poi and other toys, we will also soon be getting some uv lights and other funkie stuff to create a fun atmosphere.
The first night will be held on 05/09/07 at 7pm and the best bit FIRST DRINK IS FREE :booze: only for the first night tho.
If you are interested please get back to me so I can get everything set up. There might be a few supprises thrown in as well!!!
unfortunately i will have to ask for a vouluntary donation of up to £3 to help cover costs.

Bestival Festival

Back for a fourth year, Bestival will be at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight on Friday 7th until Sunday 9th September 2007.
Playing their only English festival this year and headlining the Saturday are Beastie Boys, while the Friday is headlined by the Chemical Brothers and the Sunday is headlined by Primal Scream.
