Hi there..was link to this site by a friend..and another friend pointed something dodgey out in the lessons...
The '5 beat isolated weave' isn't isolated. Technically its a 5 beat weave with lock outs.
To be isolated the centre of rotation on the poi has to be in the centre, rather than the handle.
An actual 5 beat isolated weave would be very very tricky indeed! |

agreed with you there amiee, i dont think i have ever seen a 5bt done as a 5bt weave, i have seen and played with myself thinks that look like it would be more than a 3 beat but in actual fact isn't. |

| would b cool if they were downloadable in normal file formats, like .mpeg, or .wmv, or .amv, or .mp4, so its possible to download them to another mp4 player than an ipod.. |

Theres still a couple of problems with them.. i.e the moves being done incorrectly.
But I have PM'd the relevant people letting them know |

Hip reels are a right mission to learn, it hurts your brain.
Best thing to do is focus on each hand separately, then try the way that seems easiest with both arms. I still hate my 'other way around' hip reels! |
