How an "S" Shaped staff can be made.
-note- God just been listening to Ulrich Schnauss, Gridlock and Digital Nimbus...They are bloody awesome!!
-end note-
Now I got that out of my system!
S shaped staff can be made from bending some tubing which isn't to bad. The hard part is cutting it into sections that can clip/twist/slide together and STAY together.
All of the above tho present problems of how to quickly snap them apart when performing. It probably takes hell loads of practice to get a smooth "Break" in the staff.
Martial arts wise you can get those three section staff that have a couple of chain links between them, tho don't know how you could separate them should you modify them to do so. |

| im not that fussed about it being collapsable as long as it is strong. So i could just take 1.5m metal tubing and get it bent hmmm |

| Yeah, but would be gnarly if you could pull it apart mid performance and break down into some hardcore club swinging. Plus with it being almost sickle shaped for each club...would look cool! |

A bit more work than play today I'm afraid. Under the gun with license work.
But I can still pop in and have a giggle!
No with the staff shape you could have something like this
(Excuse the crudeness of the drawing I was in a rush lol)
Have fire coming off of the curves and then you can pull it apart and have two "Sickle" Like clubs to play with! |

Lol no it wasn't hard I just traced it to be honest lol!
Muaha ghastly tricks of the trade!
Yeah the second one would be more practical I think.
You'd have to hammer the ends of the tube flat to achieve the shape.
But then you can easily bolt/screw some Kevlar onto the "Blade" You could bend the pipe yourself actually. Shouldn't be to difficult at the end of the day. |

I will say this tho.
With the complexity of the shape. It will be hard to manipulate it into different directions. Due to all of those crazy forces at work! |
