not true! you can most definately NOT do all doubles moves with S-staffs for a start much staff on staff doubles contact is way out as is any doubles contact. Strugz has some S-staffs you need to get some steel tube and get a good metal worker to bend them on rollers
I agree a lot of normal doubles can be done but as you said plans have to be perfect, throws are tricky especially behind the back reverse throws because you are throwiing and catching off centre. I think you can do most spins and some throws with S's but I don't think you can do standard contact as the shape isn't uniform enough. Also you need enough light to see the staffs otherwise the whole effect is lost (boo) shiney is good so the fire reflects of the intertwinning metal |

yeah fire ones rock but in total darkness where you can't see the shape of the staff you may as well use normal staffs because you can do so much. with light on you AND fire the S's look awsome more due to the shape than the fire.
I have been thinking though that you could do some cool staff on staff moves with S's that are really hard to do with normals. like linking the curves and swinging the second staff round only hooked on |
