Hi, Im Boaz, and im new here, and also new to poispinning, bought a pair on holidays in thailand :P
I liked spinning poi alot, so went on the internet to learn a "3 beat weave" and other stuff^^
5 mins ago, I hurt my lips doing it (the poi-thingy bounced to my lip and now theres coming blood out of it^^)

Hey boaz
i also cought the poi bug in thailand (the great fire shows) :o .Hope to be as good one day, no where near it yet but i am trying. i have found sock poi to be the best to practise with, i started with the proper fire poi (not on fire) they are a bit hard therefor a lot of bruises and hurt nuts .Wher in thiland did you go :?:

heh, I went to several places, Bangkok (ofcourse ) , Koh Samui, Koh Chang, and Kanchanaburi were the "main places" I went to. I've been in thailand for 4 weeks
yeah, GREAT fire shows, thats also what started me doing poi and ur totally right about the proper fire poi, that they give ALOT of bruises, especially hurt nuts when I was trying to learn the 3bt weave fw :D
