Looking to get some fire poi now after catchjing the bug after playin on LifeJunkies, and have been looking at the poipoi shop, what would be better for me???
Flamin' Chains Fire Poi (set)£22.49
Cathedral Fire Poi - Single / Ball Chain (set)£26.24
i think cathedrals have bigger/longer flame, so good for proficient spinners, but at this price is it worth it for a beginner? LJ has ones simliar to the flamin' chains set, and are nice, but im wondering if its worth spending the extra £4 on cathedrals?
Any advice appreciated

Read the topic i asked about fires in. lazy.
i was recommended the fires, but yeah the cathedrals do have a bigger flame and burn longer apprently. I have heard they are also lighter because they are just all wick? no metal structure through the middle of it or something??
you decided what length your going for yet? |

< lifejunkie I have a very childish mind!!!!>
so back to the point you want your chains about the same length as shoulder to wrist but you find out after bit of practice what you like and dont forget you can change the length

I have to say I do love my monkey fists
(it could be sentimental as they were my first)
But they do spin really nicley
Because I started off with glowball poi, I wanted round fire ones so the shape was the same, so I was quite confident with them.
To be honest after spinning both in terms of just spinning
(I dont know the ins and outs of different burn times and such)
there isnt that much differance you have just got to pick a pair you think you like the look of and go for it!!
hope this helps a bit
