Hey incognito, i missed your post there, sorry! Fire is the best thing to spin, i love it :D
Also its cool that you make your own stuff, i'd like to have my own workshop one day! As to the flags, there's details on the dimensions over in the shop section. Here's a direct link to the specs page : http://www.poipoi.info/shop/spec/spec-flags.html
Hope that helps! And good luck, is there any way you can show us any of your stuff? |

thanx for the reply Ryz0r i am currently working on putting some short clip videos together.
recently invested in some glowsticks (500 for £10) the bracelet type ones about 10" long ive found if you attach then as a bracelet to cord and stack 5 or 6 different colours on each cord it makes a really wicked effect videos of that coming to soon is there any host space avaliable for posting video footage? |

Holy crap where did you get 500 glowsticks for a tenner from?! Sounds like a kick-ass idea doin that, I've not done it with the bracelet ones but i have linked 7 different coloured 6" glowsticks onto my flaming chains (taking the wicks off first,) I called it 'the Rainbow'. It looks brilliant, but them 6 inchers are pretty expensive for using 14 in one night!
There's quite a few good places to host video footage - a good one is http://www.putfile.com,(this is the one i use) but the filesizes are limited to 25mb. There's also http://www.youtube.com which i don't think has a filesize limit, but uses Flash-video instead of real video..
Cant wait to see the clips! |

i bought 2 lots of the glow sticks some of the bracelet type and some of the 6" type as well dont you find that hooking up that many makes it very heavy? 7 of the bracelet ones weight about the same as 1 maybe 2 of the 6" ones and becos they are circular at times you get a worm hole effect with them oh i bought the glowsticks off ebay but there are a few companies in the uk who will do deals on bulk buying im gonna set up my 35mm camera this weekend and see if i can get some shots of the bracelet poi again anyone who has had any experience in shooting at night would be greatly appreciated i know most of the basics about night photography but is there any handy tips i should be aware of?
oh i bought the 500 bracelet glowsticks and 100 of the 6" jobbies at the same time i think total cost including p+p was 27.10 (good old ebay) |

woah thats pretty mint that! Yeah, it was heavy, specially with the fact that they were metal chains as well, it just means that you have to have a break after like 5 minutes of spinning because your arms get tired! It's well worth it for the effect though, i cant wait to see your videos 8)
I dno much about photography though, someone else will have to give you advice on that. |

| Hey. I'm new to the forums and already feel at home here. This site is wicked. I've already posted some music recommendations in the news thread. How good are the admin at responding to requests? Looks like there's a pretty good relationship. Hope to learn more about the world of poi from this LOVELYSITE> |
