Hi all!
I'm a spanish girl and I'm looking for people who would like to meet up around Greenwich area! I started on Poi last year and I quickly learnt basic movements, but haven't improved much this year.. ( haven't practice a lot..)
Weather is getting better and I would love to spend some time at Greenwich park chilling out and learning new tricks!
My next challenge: behind the back weaving.. it looks impossible to me at the moment!
Have fun! |

Hey
I am a South African girl also in Greenwich and fairly new to Poi - all self taught from the net but dying to learn new stuff so it would be cool to meet up in the park and spin :o).
I heard about a class in Camden once a week on the starting week I am in the med rock climbing so hope to start the new beginners course which is at the end of may.
Its 6 weeks long and costs 75 quid. |

Hi! It's good to know there are more people in Greenwich into the poi.. I'll give you my email so we can meet up sometime and exchange new movements to each other.
I've been going to the park this week to practice, and normally I am right behind the observatory, at the little garden at the back.
About the course, I dont think I'm doing it, I defenitely need someone to teach me but I think maybe we can find some place to go and learn for free..
Anyways, send me if u want so we can meet up soon.
C ya!

| hey, I'm Kal and luckly I live only a bus ride away towards deptford/surry queys area. ive been spinning for a just under a year, started at reading festival 2005. Funnily enough ive done some practice in that little garden behind the observatory too, very cool little area. I also climbed a tree there, was great fun. Anyway as it is comming up to summer and so far i havent met another person/people that spin I think a little session in the park on a lovely sunny day might be in order. Lambda25@hotmail.com be the best way to contact me. if anyone is interested add me to their msn account or just reply here. |
