Thanks daedra.
Hey aj, if it's any consolation, I am quite well bruised from trying to reverse the 5bt over the past couple of days and I still haven't got it. LOL! I really don't think the poi is supposed to sucker punch you inthe boob when you traverse your body right? haha
vipes, I gotta agree with you, I found they do look kind of chaotic and sloppy when done fast.
btw, thanks for the welcome, folks. :D |

with reverse 5b i guaruntee that it will make a huge amount of difference (successful!!) if on the weird extra bit where you have to twist your wrists, you really get your leading wrist way under your other one.
i.e: from right to left, as your right arm finishes its final upswing and your left arm is coming down onto it to drag it across, get it (the left arm) much further over and under your right than normal.
I still suck from left to right though lol. |

Yeah thats right man. When i do them backwards from right to left, my left hand gives a bit flick to get the poi spinning the right direction. Its hard at first, but soon becomes natural. |

I learned:
Windmills
Extended Reels
Shoulder stall (stop the poi with your shoulder then start them spinning in the opposite direction, use them to get into Butterfly type stuff
FW and BK Buzzsaw's
Just need to find a way to get buzzsaw's into sequence. And I cheat by having short strings :p
Pus I can do most of them after a drink as well |

Its not cheating using short strings! When your in a backwards weave, let the chain/rope/sock etc wrap over your hand to shorten them. To unwrap, spin forwards.
I find that turning out of buzzsaws works well. I like to turn to isolations, or airwraps. |

I thought I would add what I have learnt recently!
Corkscrew Hyperloops (Up and down)
Butterfly waistwraps and throws straight from them.
Wibbles properly!
Bounces! - These are throws, which bounce on the tennis ball end on my chest! They are surprisingly easy to do, and put into moves!
Loads of Meltdown stuff! Fun Fun Fun!
General practice of planes and stuff |

Its under the leg stuff the poi stay in the same plane under the legs but the legs move to allow the poi to remain in the middle is hard to explain. got antispin butterfly flowers as well |
