guys and gals, gals and guys, gather round and feast your eyes! bring your fire and bring your glow to "the mad and the bad, Medicine Show!"

heya folks, there is an event me and some friends are putting together to help raise funds for a big project in spain, the venue has been booked, and its the function room above the Hare & Hounds
pub, in Brighton.

The show will be on the 14th April. Doors open to the public at 7:30pm, please please please come! plus it gives me a chance to meet the faces behind to forum!

Its inside! And you said bring fire :P Im noticing some saftey issues here Wink

But ignoring that, Where is it? Cos if its not to far, I may come and bring some friends :D

lol obviously wont be spining inside:P but as soon as shows over we go outside and play with fire!

to be honest im not exactly sure where the venue is precisely located, all i know is that its in brighton, lol do you know where it is J? lol but its on a saturday if you didnt know.

and as in for the performance, as far as im aware theres going to be a spinning act performed by myself, in which ill be using staff, glowstick and glow poi, my friend aran on glow staff, and another friend Bee, on glow poi also but more spinning acts are welcome if you can bring something truelly fantasticle to the stage:P then im not sure what other acts will be going on, but hopefully will be a blast. then after that theres going to be an after party at a friends flat (providing they havent been evicted yet apparently lol)

ill get more details on the location but hope you can all go!

its all in getting money for the burrows project to make it to spain this year for the "NoWhere Festival" check out the festivals page i think i posted it on there a while back.

Yeah I know exactly where it is. Hare and Hound is right on the corner of an intersection called Preston Circus. Here's a map of it:

Its smack on that corner created by Viaduct Road and London Road.

Its pretty in the middle of everything, so the nearest place to do fire is the Level, which is pretty good as long as there arent too many drunks there lol. No problem as there'll be lots of us, however we might attract the police. Failing that a mission to the beach (10-15min walk).

I'm likin the sounds of this party :P

ah excellent thanks for the map! without it id be as lost as a blind man looking for the corner in a circular room!

but yeah when i get the FULL details, they will be posted here, including time, number of performances, venue, after show plans etc etc

hey guys. dnt live too far from brighton so i think i could make it. i may be a newbie but when theres a chance of a show nd play im all ears. i do need to know though how much its gunna cost because being a poor student i need to work out where my money is going. also is being under 18 a problem?

heya guys! still havent heard back from zero yet if under 18 is an issue, im under the assumption it wont be if your planning on doing some performing or sumthing.
But afterwards theres either a couple of interesting prospects:
A) house party at my friends where theres bound to be tons of people.
B) Laurie has kindly offered a piss up at ***HIS*** place should that fail (hahaha daedra i edited your post :P love jayne)
C) Go down to the beach with loads of parafin and spin till dawn! muahahah! maybe bring a BBQ and some grub?
D) Anything else that tickles the fancy!

I'll keep you all posted on updates and everything!

Hey, i live almost exactly 2 minutes away from the Hare and Hound so it would be totally awesome ! is there a rule on bringing non-spinners? lol my friend would love to come!

Ok guys more details, doors open at 8pm at hare and hound, the cost of tickets will be £6 each, I'm going to wait before I hear back about the age issue before I get anything at all, what I'm planning is if every thing's fine age wise, I'll buy everyone a ticket who wants one, then maybe pay me back on the night. lol sorry about the gender bender! i was at work, and most likley confused or sumthing work related! hopefully will hear back from him tonight / some time this week about age.
