Hi my name is Ruth and I'm a newbie to poi.

I got some poi for my birthday back at christmas and have been using the videos on here to try and teach myself some moves. I really love spinning and i want to learn more moves so im interested to find fellow spinners and attending workshops but i'm not sure where to start Confused Im a student based in eastbourne but i go home for holidays back in hertfordshire so if anyone has any help/advice for where to go next it would be much appreciated Wink

I thought brighton would probably be the place to go!! Are there any workshops/displays about or do people just randomly spin on the seafront??

there's a group called poipassion at www.poipassion.com who do workshops in brighton. mainly you just see people randomly spinning on the beach. but i'm always up for a spin if you give me a time and place. and i can drag some people with me.

poi passion are 'spensive mind you... I'd teach you for free lol
