I don't really listen to music while spinning, mainly as my mp3 phone thing died on me :(
But some metal, indie and prodigy seems good :p |

Prodigy, Pendulum, Daft Punk, Jaxx, erm Chemical Brothers
Really you just gotta find individual songs
This one, i dunno if you can spin to it, you sure can swing to it though

Calvin Harris - Acceptable in the 80's
"I got hugs for you if you were born in the eighties"
I find it easier to listen to music when I practice poi as it keeps a rythm in the swing, and you can double the beat in your head if you want to go faster.
Any good Ministry or dance album should do, its better if you like the music your listening to though!

Hybrid for me at the mo, or any Gods Kitchen/Renaissance type compo.
The one single tune doing it for me at present is the original 'smalltown boy' by Bronski Beat xx |

Tidy boys are ace, dont forget the sharp boys and all trade music labels. Good solid beats.
I find poi to drum and bass is quite hard just because the beat is so fast and can be very irratic.
I love all the new dirty electro stuffcoming out like bodyroxs, put your hands up for detriot, exceeder and loads more. I hear Steve Angelos the flavour of the year so far.
To be realy honest im sick of the music formats though, I have been moving approx 30,000 + vinyl from a flat on the second floor to a flat on the fourth floor all weekend (with no lift). More of the same today.
I favour mp3's, they weigh less. |

| Im not too much of a fan of psy trance. I prefer slightly less speedy music. I have been spinning to The Scratch Perverts recently. |

| I like slower beats too. It feels more flowing and less irratic. |
