evenin peeps!!!
been usin this site for ages and only just registerd
(what a pleb)
Ive been spinning poi for about 6months. man its addictive!!!
im from the good ol' west country somerset,
lit up for the 1st time last monday with my m8s fire poi. now waiting to get my own.... WHAT A BUZZ!!!!
this site is brilliant for learning new moves! Smile

it damn well is brilliant! And welcome! I loved my first fire spin, despite me being completely terrified hahaha.

What stage o learnin are you up to? Everyone on this site is great for teaching moves in wordy words.

er what stage?????
bugger knows!!!! lol early intermediate id say i got some moves like buzzsaw,figure of 8 (i think. am finding backward moves a bit hard tho my brain doesnt understand you can do tem both ways. i learnt the 3 beat weave fowards back in feb. and i still have probs doin it backwards. havent learnt anything behind my back yet but then i havent really tried. am a bit stuck for space and have been since i started!! at my old house i blew 3 light bulbs where i kept hitting the lampshade(oops)
what about you? been doing it long?

about 10months now, and i feel your pain about the whole lampshade issue. Mine is well expensive and i keep smashing it

luckily for me i havent actually broken anything indoors, but ive hit plenty of other stuff, people, tables, chairs, ceilings (im just waiting for the day i put a hole in the ceiling hehe:P)
i been doing poi since about last summer i think Confused i used to practise really often but now its more if theres something going down ill take some poi with me(^_^)

anyways again welcome!!
