I'm here :P.
If you want an intro, been doing poi for about a year and a half (off and on, been learning devil sticks too), started with socks and tennis balls :P and moved up thru cobras and LED's, and now ive been doing fire for about a year now. Although I still like my trusty cobras :P. |

Yep the cobras are great, especially for learning new tricks 8)
They're so light and swingy, and the tails are much fun! |

I also just wanted to introduce myself. Also fairly new to spinning poi (like almost everybody else here) :D
I am very keen on The Mouse (My old training poi). I received my Globalz today 8) ! Cant wait to try them out. Not yet quite sure how to assemble though. Will check it out later.
So, now that I'm introduced - Hi all! :!: |

Check out this guy's video... His name is Hiroyuta and he's from Japan. His spinning is so good it will either make you want to run away and practise or (oh no) run away and give up poi for good!

Very inspiring, I think 8) |

|
|
Hi there! to anybody hesitating about poi can I just say that we have had the most fantastic chrimbo fun with the globalz. Bought them for my 21 year old niece and 41 year old husband but everyone wanted a go (ages 21 to 52). Also got the art of poi video which was a great help.
There's something about them that just makes you feel so good. Thanks flamin funky fire monkey for all your great tutorials and friendly service too.
Heres to a poiful New Year, Lynne |
