Ms Doodles would have to go through every account herself, checking for hints that they are a spammer. Many people register so they can download the tutorials but dont use the forum...

Only the ones who put thinks like "Drugs" for there hobbies section can easily be found. But with 1639 users it would be pretty hard work for the admin to do that!

HAha. WEll i think Emma does go through the new members and deletes them, and if they spam at all. We delete there posts and then pass there usernames on to Emma who deletes them . . .

Unfortunatly some of them get past our grip :P

emma is a good adminner. she spends time running through a big old list of just recently joined members to check if they're spammers.
Some of them have convincing names, and some come on when she's not online.
They're the only ones who get through her almost impermeable wall of justice.

I love it here and the odd spammer doesnt bother me. This is my home with all my poi friends, the first place I go to when Im gettin hit by my poi.

I just wanna get back at so many spammers though, I mean why, whats the point. Im one of these people that cannot sit back and say nothing like the time I saw some random guys dog laying a brick on the pavement and told him that I was gonna find out where he lives and poo on his doorstep cos he didnt clean up his mess.

I wasnt dissing Emma & the mods, they do a great job of putting up with my ramblings ;o)

hoi hoi folks......all clean again after the weekend, I try to clean members out at least twice a week...hence the total now being a lot less than adam said! the hardest little tinkers are the spammers that use a hotmail/yahoo address! very hard to tell if the are dodgy until they tell us something undesirable about britney spears! keep up the good work team Smile

It's true, every morning i come into work, check the site for spam posts and pass them on to Uber Spam Destroyer Emma, and she sorts them out with an iron fist!

But by god I wouldn't miss it if it were gone! Even if I was put out of a job!

Yeah unfortunatly there is nothing we can do about them. Its been a topic of endless discussion for a while now.

We will just have to keep being vigilant. And ask people if theres a spam post that slipping down the ranks i.e me dea, J or MrsD havent seen it then to give one of us a shout and well sort it out Smile
