Hello
Thought I would share my first video with you.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnOWVflQJ8o
Side view second vid
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n9j76aiZQ44
I've been spinning for nearly 2 months now.
I think the tricks I'm trying are the buzzsaw and the 3 beat
Any pointers would be appreciated.
Cheers
PS. My new Nightburst LED glow pois are great!!
Highly recommended

Nice video, good to see you progressing
Only thing I'd say is to spin side on the the camera so we can see the circles. Just makes things look a little nicer |

nice weave man!
Good attempt at your buzzsaw, sort your left hand out so your poi spin in the same plane and it'll look sick. |

Me does like
Aye try and neaten up your planes in your buzzsaw, then work on getting your hands as close together as you can...
And I agree with Timmayx ...
Give me one momenta:
| Quote: | From DMP:Now, because weaves look best from the side and butterflies look best from the front, if you mix wall and side planes, or any other in between (i.e. all the obscure diagonal ones) the audience wont get the best view…
So, if you start in the side planes you should be side on to the audience, if you start in wall planes, you should be face or back toward the audience.
Say you started spinning a butterfly in wall plane facing your imaginary audience; you need to keep this wall plane…So instead of going into a weave in front of you, you would go to your left or right sides. This keeps the move at its best angle to the audience.
On the other hand, if you started spinning a weave side on to the audience, you would have to turn your body so that your butterflies were face on to get the best angle.
Ceiling / Floor planes don’t really come into this as they can be thrown in anywhere!

This is a great way to make your vids look nicer. Learn how to turn your three beat without hitting yourself. Then you can be sideways for you 3beat and buzzsaw, and then if you feel like you want to do a butterfly, you can turn so your facing the camera.
That will makes your vid look that extra bit special
Thanks for sharing mate It takes balls to put up vids of yourself on places like this. I commend you |

Buzzsaw looking good to me!
Erm, not really got many pointers as the moves look pretty awesome. All I'd say is that if you're gonna move with the poi's movement, make sure its nice and flowing and not erratic.
And bend your arms nice and floppy.
And SMILE!!!
I like your goattee heh |
