here's a little demo of some of the steve moves done bit by bit and slowly so you can see how they all link up
Steve Types:
Half steve
Prayer steve (prayer roll)
Prayer steve with extra prayer beat
Full Steve
combinations linked by neck spins |

fishtail to halo is pretty easy use your thumb to pull the staff up (create a notch between hand and wrist) and just guide it to your shoulder as with all contact moves it's continous out to the left hand fishtail |

i have a shiny bounce staff, at last!
i can spin it and catch it thats about it. i want to get good with this one before i get a firestaff. and its so hard. spin whilst standing still i have to a T. but try to move or do anything i either drop it or hit myself round the back of the head. so having one i set fire too might not be the best idea yet |

learn figure 8's forwards and backwards with both hands and behind the back passes solid, once that's done practice slowly turning around keeping a figure 8, when you have spun 180 degrees a forwards fig 8 turns into a backwards just like poi. stick at it dude, it's so much fun. then pick up a second and it's just like poi again |

ha ha, i have a fire staff bought it from these bods at glasto, took me ages to decied which one i wanted, clever me thinking get the one that has the most hand space picked the five foot one i think it is. yeah i am five foot four, clunk!!!!
But yeah i practised more and now i can do some of the passing being the back .. its hard tho, to make your hands turn the way you want them to go.. still small progress it better then no. |
