Nice, you need to slow down a bit tho, you look rushed!
And the moves themselves look fine, but you need to work on your transitions from move to move, it makes it look alot better.

I have no camera atm, but if I can get one sorted ill get a vid up of me doing some stuff.(got tiniest bit of kerosene left, so i might film me doing fire)

Yeah, i find that when i spin without music i can get a bit out of control speed-wise!

thanks for the advice, i think my transitions are getting better now i've been working on them but i'm not completely seamless quite yet. i'm looking forward to seeing a fire poi video, i've not got the balls to try doing it myself yet, i've done some fire spinning with a staff in the past but i'm still quite new to poi

Looking good, I think you're probably ready for fire poi :D
I agree you should maybe slow down a little though.

BTW, I notice you're also in Manchester - do you know of any good poi meetups 'round & about these parts?

Right, well, apparently i was misinformed. There's a night on in Jilly's Music Box on the first friday of every month called Sunrise, where a few spinners go, but it's not really an official meetup so there wont be many people there. Also, the next Sunrise night isnt until 1st February. Sorry!

I know of a guy who performs regularly in Manchester though, i just need to find out where!

Yeah, I've spun at Sunrise a couple of times, there were a few other spinners there but not a massive group. I think there's a meetup every other month in Platt Fields park? Not sure though.

ah, lol... that's just an illusion cos the cords are only half as long, although i am quite tall!

I think i need to make a new video... this one is a bit out-dated, i feel i have progressed beyond what this vid shows in the time since it was made... practice practice practice :D :D
