What move is you favorite?
Currently, flowers. Though it changes a lot. Last month, my favourites were hyperloops.
What move are you working on?
I'm still trying to get my meltdowns to actually look good (read: not wonky).
Though at the moment, I'm been mostly busy working on my flow. Making moves transition more smoothly into each other -- That kinda thing...
How long have you been a spinning?
Oh man... Years...
What took you the longest to perfect?
Airwraps. Pesky little buggers. Even now I sometimes mess them up. Oh, and reverse 5-beat weaves. Man, I spent weeks trying not to hit myself in the face with those! |

Ha Ha refer back to that in a month or so and I guarantee that your reply will be different.
The five beat weave is really nice but a b***h to learn.
My next move is the reverse 5 beat weave and as AJ said its going to take time to learn it, I remember having big trouble getting the reverse 3bt weave down! At the moment I try, watch them coming towards my face and run for the hills! |

Heh... reverse 5-bt. Like I've said to a lot of people -- wearing a hockey mask helps. It's a useful trick to learn for one big reason -- it gives you Jedi-like reflexes for ducking out of the way of pretty much anything incoming. When you get it right, you kinda feel as if you could dodge bullets. |

Atomics, trinity, infs, antispin butterfly flower turns (my arms just dont understand) and wibbles are still the bain of my poi life at the moment
How long have you been a spinning?
2 years and 1month
What took you the longest to perfect?
i would say the isolated buzzsaw took me ages to get that spot on. |

What move is you favorite ?
I guess currently 1 handed angel wings
What move are you working on?
5bt weave and reels
How long have you been a spinning?
around 3 months now, but learnt so much more in last week or so
What took you the longest to perfect?
Angel wings and a move shown to me by my ex which included shoulder reels (she showed it me on my 3rd day of picking poi up)
As to avoiding the poi, you do tend to pick up faster reflexes!!! I had to unlearn my reflex to move in front of the object ( I used to play in goal in Lacrosse) !!!! |

to kinda add to the questions i would like to know who you think has been your biggest inspiration in spinning?
For me it is my friend munky who actually got me into spinning, nik woosley constantly inspires me especially after meeting the guy. |

but i am grateful you said that jayne |

My biggest inspiration? Man... where do I even begin? I can't pick just one!
Goldie, Spin and Gizmo (from DMP) are way up there, mainly because it was through watching them that I learned most of what I now know (and learned exactly how cool poi can look)! Others... Nick Woolsey and Yuta (from Playpoi)... Splinter (Emerald Circus)... Bluecat... Mr Chutney... I'm sure after I hang out here a bit more, I'll add a few of you guys to my list too.
For non-poi stuff, Brinechild is an inspiration ro any contact jugglers and Dave Aminal of freestyleforum.net is a lord of nunchuks.
There are so many great performers out there, and they all inspire me in different ways. Even total beginners can sometimes make you look at things with fresh eyes. That's one of the best things about poi!
Erm... turned into a bit of a ramble, that. Oops.
