Thanks
I think I now get the theory, it's just putting into practice I have to work on...
And as I have a splitting headache from over-poi I am thinking that happens tomorrow |

Xan is beyond a genius... I can never normally understand simple instructions like where some place is or whatever, but Xan has me doing flowers... video as soon as I can, as I think I may be getting there

Yep yep yep! You got the idea.
Now bits for you to work on:
Making the circle you do with your arms as BIG as possible
Making the circle with your arm as FLAT to your body as possible i.e completely perpendicular to the ground all the way around
Only using your wrist to spin the poi so you get rid of the jerky movement and the arm circle becomes fluid
Well done ^_^ |

nice. Your definatly coming on. Ok my tips and illtry and keep as much positional references out of it.
1) Try doing what your doing now up close side on to a wall. This will be hard at first but what it should do is make your poi make perfect circles and look neater.
2) once your comfortable doing this try doing it with you other hand. Then do step one with this hand.
3) Then try both at the same time
4) Then try and find a corridor with close walls on both sides and try 1 again with both poi |

W00!
Thanks
*feels massive surge of positivity*
I can't believe the level of amazing support I have had here with this... and whilst I hate to ask... What is another easyish trick for me to work on?
Right... Psychotic Neurotic....
I get all your points and will work on that, thanks...
AJ...
What you're saying makes a lot of sense, but I really doubt that I could coordinate that near a wall, I think I would end up smacking it and re-dislocating my knuckles... so whilst I like your idea, I'm thinking it's probably a no-go |

You guys are too kind, really! I just like to try and help people out if I can...
Hmmm... Your video's not loading for me, for some reason. I'll have a look when I get home.
You want more already? Blimey. You must be doing well! I'll have a think about what would be easiest and get back to you on that one...
