cobra II's are pretty awsome, although the tail is pretty long.
Still, you can take the tail off them for when learning new tricks and put them back on when you want to impress Very Happy

stick simple, build up later....

No matter how many poi sets you buy, you always end up going back to ye olde socks with tennis balls inside. Perfect for wrapping and generally hitting yourself with, cost effective and easy to make (and maintain). Stretch can be a problem but after a few days the stretch should wear out a little and you can then wrap them round your hands for extra grip!

I sound like an advert!

Louise you should write some product reviews in that style Wink

I very much like mouse poi and cobras. Some people find them a bit plasticy. if you felt creative you ould always make your own with bits of coloured netting attached to some kind of beanbag weight on the top?

Oh yeah, I painted my socks stripey with a fluroescent acrylic paint which stands out bright yellow when under a neon. You could also make your own tails for them if you made a hole in the ball and threaded streamers or shiny tinsel through it.

You can indeed. I need new socks :(

I like the foxy ones though. Theyre good to let the nightburst shine through.
