Forensics........I love science but i am banned from practicals for mine and everyone elses safety =p

I am trying to practice, but the second fall has really *i swear to much* my ribs up a bit :|
I am doing maybe 1 hour 30 a day, but I have a bruise covering my side and it's making it incredibly painful, especially when I hit myself.
I'm thinking takeouts might take a while...

Marvin, that's really useful to know... thanks.
I am lucky just being dyspraxic, I don't know what I'd do if I were dyslexic and couldn't read like I do, but I have a wealth of other problems instead :|

As much as I hate to say it, if you're all bruised, it might be an idea to take a day off practicing. Let your body recover a little, then attack it when you feel better. Mind you, that's your call. Smile

Thats all due to Plane work again. As your bringin them in your planes are probably off, so there hitting each other on the way back in.

But without doing things like i suggested with walls, your plane work will take along time to perfect.

Its something i have been working on for all my spining time now and theres still room for improvement!

Hmmn... I am thinking, maybe try against soft chunks of hedge... that way, crashing into them might work safely.

My wrist is still stiff, but has healed, along with my head, nose and knee. My ankle is not happy, but it's useable, and as for my ribs, I have a pretty wicked bruise, riiiight down my side.
I am back to poi, - have done 5 hours so far, maybe get a couple more in today, get back up to strength.
I need to find somewhere safer to practise Smile

Still, yes, plane work it is, I shall see what happens Smile

Wow... :\ You sure you're ok?

For working on planes, do you have any large windows or patio doors you can watch your reflection in? That aways works for me. As always, going down to one hand is helpful. I always find my left needs more work than my right. I always found the wall trick a little unforgiving. Wink

Patio doors it is Smile

I have broken ribs before - kicked down a hill - and I don't think that's what I've done this time, I think it's just a major bruise from a clumsy person Rolling Eyes
As for the ankle, it's barely swollen now, I already have small tears in my ligaments, so it's probably just that again.
Wrist is fine, twisted.

Right, major practising today...

I am hoping to go into a nearby city with a girl from college (who used to spin before she got tendonitis), if I do I will take my poi Smile

So it's butterfly (())then you take one poi out (()\ do a circle on its own ()\0 and bring it back in (()\ before continuing butterfly (())?
