Eager Beginner

Hey all, I'm brand new to poi and am from grtr manchester (UK) can anyone point me in a good direction? I have do it youself books/dvds but would really like to meet some folk and learn a new trick.........tap dancing skills can be exchanged in return :-)

please let me know as I am so eager to get going

You can look on the Tuition page on this site! Theres loads to learn on there!

You could look for a juggling club/poi meets where you are from, theres usually one or two regualary.

ooo, welcome!!!! I think Felixwah is from manchester and he is an AMAZING spinner and a splendid chap, I sure he won't mind giving you some idea of clubs in your area Smile

Welcome to the site and get asking questions, sometimes you'll be working on something for ages and someone will say a couple of words to describe an action and BAM, you'll understand it finally!

The best bit for me, is not having to pay to do it! It seems you have to pay for everything nowadays! It keeps the exitement there for me!

howdy ppl yesh i am from manchester and because of the lack of poi meets in manchester me and my friends (ste and casper) are gonna start a meet and hopefully some workshops, my mate will be starting the website soon as well Smile

so i will keep you posted. but yeh the tuition on this site is mega so check that out Smile

I'm new too, just got started last week but I've learned a few tricks already.

I studied 2 years in Manchester.. does that count? LOL. I'm hoping for a trip back to the UK but now I"m in Los Angeles, CA.
