watch your front weave closely try to memorise where your hands go.... then while weaving... turn your body 90 degrees.... that should give you the feeling of it backwards....

apart from that .... just get used to spinning backwards and practice....

The best advice i got was to remember your hands should be palms up. I was keeping them palms down due to knowing the 3bw to well and trying to revert to that all the time.

One poi at a time helps too.

Best to learn from a forwards imo. Do a forwards one and look at the poi when they come by your side. They do a circle and go back yeah? Well use this circle.

When they come past your thigh turn your body 180 degrees while they spin in this circle. Your arms uncross and cross again. When they re cross you are ready to take them to the other side. When you reach the other side let them do the same circle at your side as your arms uncross and recross. Back to the other side and so on....

This turning should get you having it for a few beats at least which is all you need to get the "feel".

Good luck Smile
