| Well, a nice way to do it is to start off doing the windmill(or orbital as it's referred to on this site) and sort of bend yourself into the corkscrew by changing the angle of the spinning circles from vertical to horizontal gradually. I think you'll find its more comfortable to go from the corkscrew to the windmill though, it is for me! |

darkangel, tks for the "experienced"... but i don't believe so;
corkscrew is very easy to do... he begins like ryz0r said with the windmill...
in fact, it is a windmill variation... or you can begin a windmill doing first a corkscrew... is just trying to variate your body inclination
picture with fire of a corkscrew
i hope this tip can help you x] |

ps: the pois cannot touch you, so this is the way you most inclinate your body, in the begin of practicing this move you'll see that it will be "ugly" and "not harmonious"... but fast you see this, fast you will correct it...

when you guarantee more security on doing that, you can rotate around your body while doing the corkscrew, make a 360 degrees corkscrew that looks prety cool in fire-pictures (not like that one in the link)
this is what you messaged me on msn. what did you mean about doing the corkscrew 360 degrees? and what did u mean about inclinating your body. i really dont get what you mean by making a 360 degrees corkscrew.
i can do the corkscrew really good, i just can't find a way to get into it smoothly.
thanks

right it all depends which way you do a corkscrew some do it different ways to others i cant go into it off my windmill i simply do a forwards weave n when you are bringing over to your left turn to your left (about 180degrees)so it goes from verital plane to the horizontal plane (you have to force the poi to go from one plane to another) hope that helps |
