Anyone ever been given abuse for spinnign poi?
Yesturday my mate got some while we were spinning together out fron tof college. My mate got it more because he has the whole gothic look about him, which chavs see as an instant target ¬_¬
Also kept asking me what I'd do if they bust my poi :(
But at least it's only happened the once and people are usually only inquisitive :D |

Mostly to me people are inquisitive too. Old ladies like it. I got a ;ooh look thats good isnt it!' as i walked by someone once. And then someone actually had the courtesy to shout 'Hey that's great!" across the pavilion gardens.
If it happens again, the whole 'what would you do if we bust you poi up'. Just tell them what you'd do. Without any threats. It dazzles them. |

haha i get alot of people do this....
im facing a set of doors to see my reflection :P right and i can see someone walking up behind me....
they watch me spin.... then get really close... and go WOAAH not so close...
grrrrrrrr
that happens too often lol.... its like you can see im spinning... there bright pink.... grrr
but often people ask to have a go... i let them and they hit themselfs lol... then i get them back and show off :D |

I was abused by a bouncer in a club for glowstick spinning, i mean they wouldnt let me in for wearing trainers, which were nice, and they just said no, if you want in you have to wear these!
so i put them on, hoping to get inside and do some spinning, so as revenge for the shoe incident, i took my socks off and let loose my sweaty feet into the shoes, which in turn made them reek which was so funny when i gave them back at the end of the night!
but yeah anyways on with the story!
i was happily spinning away and this fag bouncer comes up to me and says "you cant be swinging those in here mate" and im like "im f***** dancing whats the problem!?" and he was just like "i dont care you shouldnt be swinging those things in here!" bloody retard i thought to myself, its times like those you wish you brought a trusty 12 guage shotgun into the club with you, just for ass's like him lol |

i cud understand him not wanting u 2 spin if he thought u might accidentally hurt someone or something... i dunno... iv never had problems spinnning before...
