the big question me and my dad were debating last night in the car:
If there was a button, that when you pressed it, would give you £1000 (or similar), but would randomly kill one person somewhere in the world when you press it, how many times would you press it?
----------
so what would you do??
personally...i would press it and hold it down.....
when it comes to money i lack humility |

But surely eventually everyone would die and you'd be the only one left and then sadly your money would mean nothing...that would be disapointing...
I probably wouldnt press the button, it's be like yay i have £1000 but i have to live with a lifetime of guiltyness lol |

I think I wouldn't push it, cos i'd get paranoid that like, someone next to me would die. Or someone I loved would die. And it would be all my fault for £1000 which I would probably just spend on something naff like top-up credit or something.
What about if like, every time you presed the button it got medical research a little bit closer to curing cancer or MS or something? |

For the money no.
For the research maybe :S
Tbh im not sure what I Would do in that position!
How about (In the theme of Lost) if you had to push a button every 180 minutes, OR someone tells you the worl is going to end.
Would you push it? Or would you risk seeing if it did :P |

But every 180 minutes?
Would you run home from school to press it? Give up time with your loved ones to press it? KNow you cant leave home very far just because if you dont press it the world */could* end:P
You would still press it? |

I wouldn't press the button if it killed someone for £1000.
Unless it was someone very close to dying, better to put them out of their misery, if they want out, in my opinion.
As for the lost stuff. I guess I'm the only person on the planet who doesn't watch it. Or 24. |

I don't watch TV, I just understood the scenario put forward.
No no, I'd get laurie to make the button portable, then make an electronic timer that pressed it every 180minutes. Failing that, I'd get a group of people and have shifts. |
