Hello to all spinners, Jugglers, Stilt Walkers, Fire Performers, Bottle Flarers... you get it any one who is in to anything.
My name is August I work at the Mitre Hotel in Greenwich, I have Managed to talk my boss into letting us have a weekely gathering (every Wednesday) in our function room I am also in talks trying to get acces to the village market directly opposite the pub/hotel which will by perfect for fire performers.
Inside we have a newly installed sound system (so if anyone wants to bring CD's or instruments and have a jam feel free!), a bar just for us, a projector screen for... well just cool sh*t to have in the background, 4 experienced perfomers to help with staff, poi, fire, juggling, stilts etc, a shop in house selling poi and other toys, we will also soon be getting some uv lights and other funkie stuff to create a fun atmosphere.
The first night will be held on 05/09/07 at 7pm and the best bit FIRST DRINK IS FREE only for the first night tho.
If you are interested please get back to me so I can get everything set up. There might be a few supprises thrown in as well!!!
unfortunately i will have to ask for a vouluntary donation of up to £3 to help cover costs.
