i have a pair of monkey fists and there bloody amazin, well nice big flames and they burn for yages!!!!

So what's better in terms of burn time and flame size, monkey fist or cathedral?

Lol! Cathedrals are pretty good I must say! Haven’t had any issues with them as of yet! And I’ve put them through some horrendous times it must be said!
But still, I haven’t tried out monkey fists yet, so I think I’ll throw my caution to the wind, like a bad sandwich!

yeh man i just had the don of all blt's it was well nice, ive had my monkey fists for 4 months now and burn em at least once a week and they are still as good as when i first burnt em i have never had a go on the cathedral ones but mite buy some and attach em to ma monkey fists. you reckon you could make some fire flags?? the actual flag material would have to be proper thin hmmm

It is possible theoretically, the only issues if you pulled it off would be the weight of the flag its self, you’d need a super heavy weight on the end for it to "flow" like a normal flag does which will make it even heavier and harden to spin, also, the flames going to be massive, so if you stop, your hands are gone lol!!

lol yeah, hand burnination would be a severe issue.
Monkeyfists from this site are BLOODY EXCELLENT aj so get some when you can and then read the instructions. Promise they wont become ash!!

yeh hyperlights are gonna have to be purchased, my next home made poi are gonna be glo sock poi with my re-chargeable glo balls with the glo sam balls as counter weights for glo wibble goodness!!

i have a set of the HoP monkey fists and they are fantastic, beautiful flames and i burn them every week 5-6 times, soaked them in parrafin for 24 hours before the first burn too. cathedrals give a much larger flame but thats all it is, monkeyfists give a nice "fire ball" effect and in my opinion look nicer. i regularly do doubles poi with a mate who burns caths all the time so iv gotten public views on them too from non spinners Smile
