well ive been spinnin properly 4 a few months now and have only just discoverd this site! silly me!
so i have poi and my better half sas does fide staff!
i can do most of the begginner and intermediate but im totally flummoxed on 5 beat weave!
and can someone tell me wot a fountain is? javascript:emoticon(' ')

welcome!!! introduce yerself in the intro section!
I'm Jayne, here to tell you what a fountain is.
A fountain is a forward weave, to a backwards weave, to a windmill, then back to a forwards weave, without turning around.
You can do 5beat weaves for the weaves or 3 or whatever. Also, some people don't agree that it includes a windmill, as you can jst do a high weave above your head that doesnt let the poi go behind your head.

lol
its more of a torso twist. foot pivot thing
basically, plant your feet, move your torso as much as you like, bend with it, roll with it.
Just dont turn around heh. |
