Anyone in Hampshire, Surrey or Berkshire?

I am on the boarders of all three counties and I would be interested to hear if any groups meet up in these areas.

I go to the Institute/University/Monstrosity in the town centre (Southamtpon), yet am the only spinner I know :( I know theres a group who meet on the common but they seem to be intrested solely in fire spinning.... God damn my lack of talent.... So yeah, if there are any groups please feel free to give me a shout ^^

Dont wait till you get better mate. Take every oppertunity to learn from them better than you. I am lucky that my best mate has been doing it for 6 months or so, and he can teach me but find as many people to network with as you can.

ive only been at it for literally a few hours... only got my cobra iis in the post on friday... Ive spent an hour a night so far and am getting into the swing of things... am totally hooked already... im seriously thinking of getting a neon set so I can practise longer into the night... its flippin dark and I have no outside light in my garden grrrrrrrr lol :D

ok people I'm from southampton and spin occassionally at the uni on a monday night (term time) also every tueday in Bournemouth gardens is a big old meet up right next to the big balloon there's poi, staff, devil stick, diablo drumming and quite often mr samuel kasrani close up magician a good night and a great oppertunity to learn.

any southampton spinners interested in starting a regular spin let me know. also in the summer when the students have gone you get people playing in the garden of the Hobbit (pub) in bevois valley (well we did last year) on a thursday night not a huge amount of space but enough.

Hey ,

If your interested there is a fire spin party on the 25th May 2008 at the bandstand , castle field southsea ... meeting at 8 though ppl prob wnt spin fire till later and since the next day is bank holiday expect a long late spin .

You can bring disposable BBQs etc as long as your sensible and clearly dont drink before you spin Smile
