It was only for a really short time and then it went out, but still, not putting myself on fire made me very proud...
I also learned an easy yet affective move.
All thet happened at a really cool folk-country festival.

| make ur own fire poi- piece of pish, wrap some wick round a 'ooge eyehook, clip on some chains, light up and away you go! |

I wanted to buy a pair of fire pois too but they're quite expensive...

| lol ore he didnt mean fish he was like covering up a swear word he meant it is easy as in its a piece of *ahem* lol its also how the scotish prenounce it :D i have never made myself a pair of fire poi but the cathedral ones look quite easy im sure homeofpoi have a tutorial on it. |

well done even if it was only for a short time it's still exhilerating isn't it?? i did mine a couple've weekends back and hit myself in the head but i got four shorts at it and didn't hit myself again xxx |

| That is awesome you span some fire. Isn't it cool... it's thrilling.. and now that you know you can do it you can improve and do all kinds of moves. Don't worry about hitting yourself as long as you don't have polyester or silk or thin cotton and it's not laying on you you won't catch on fire. People who catch on fire are the ones mixing fuels. Read up on what types of fuel are best. But yes congratulations your fire journey has begun. |

Oh... The culture differences, eh?
and reading the message again I see it says pish and not fish
And yeah, it's really thrilling! I can't wait to spin fire again. Unfortunately, I missed a fire gahtering this weekend... It's the second time I know of one and can't go, but hopefully I'll be there next time  |
