Rag, it wasnt gross, kinda weird, and a bit stingy at first, but it was over in a about 10mins and you get free biscuits and OJ.
Then you feel reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally tired and sleep.

Awww all you blood donors make me feel realy guilty.

I cannot give blood because I suffer from anemia badly and need all the blood I got lol

I tell you what, you give some blood and ill recycle all my crap and together we can put the planet on an even keel.

haha i probs will when i can. but i just hate the idea of needles in me. injections freak me out i managed to punch the guy who gave me the last 1 at school, sat down and as he said here it comes my arm spazzed out into him.

Just for your perspective:

Only 6% of the eligible-to-donate population bother donating.
O- and B- blood stocks would run out in 3 days if people stopped donating.
Even the most stocked up blood would run out in 9 or 10 days.

You might need it one day!

Also there's stuff about joining the bone marrow donors list if you're interested.

but still. My mates pa gave bone marrow and saved the life of a little girl.

Oh, I'm not saying that it's not a good cause. I'm afraid I'm just far to squeamish for bone marrow donating...

See, the trouble with bone marrow is it's actually inside your bones, effectively sealed off. So they have take one of your leg bones (because they're the biggest) and well... It involved general anaesthetic, and a biiig needle that frankly terrifies me. Apparently it's not that invasive as procedures go, but it still... Gnh. Only two things make me squirm like that -- eyes and bones.

Compared to that, sure, stick a little needle into my arm and take a pint or two. That's nothing!
(Even if it is almost an armful).
