can anyone do proper duo tricks not the ones where it is like back to back weave but like face to face so its one persons left hand and the other persons right hand and vise versa. me and my mate casper managed to 5bt with each other we took a vid but i can get it on the net sucky sucky, i think this opens up loads moves you can do with 2 ppl Smile

any thorts???

isolations!!(^_^) i'd love to be able to do duo! i have only seen duo stuff on a circle of light dvd!
but would be interesting to try!

we tried airwraps n were well hard hyperloops were even harder!! lol dint try iso's we did do opposite vertical and drop stalls so it looked like this

have a look on youtube for the solfest 2006 poi video and you will c flair and spin doing 2 person 3beat weaves and goldie and gizmo doing double airwraps Very Happy

i do a bit of doubles when out busking, usally we go face to face with behind hte back weaves and lockout longarm on alternating sides or else we go with face to face waistwraps, bloody fun lachtot

Me and my friend sometimes do 3 or 5 beats, and walk into each other while doing it so the circles meet. It takes a bit of timing and practice and you cant seem to get to close, but it looks good non the less

me and are mate arnt that good but we've managed 3bt, corckscrew, thread the needle (ish). 5bt resulted in bollock injury shocked

so we stopped and gave up (it hurts more when its ur mates poi than tans you in the nads, i dont know why tho???)

Aye fella, there's so few of us infact i've never actually met anyone anyone other than my mates who can spin before! Watched a couple of ur video's, seems u got the skills to pay the bills, dont get ur hopes up for us two, novelty duo spining is more or less the peak. We're relitivly new to the fun, but got most the important stuff done (bar issolations, god knows why, bin doin my tits in for months). Need to get more fluidity too really. but yeah, hookin up for a spin sum time sounds like a plan, infact we're holdin a mini rave over the summer in High Legh (next to northwich) on the 30th of June. cum down to that. Tis an outdoor event, Dnb, trance/psy, hardbreak, let us no if u or anyone u no is game or wants to perform.

My friends and I are working on doing two person throws. they are kind of like the pin jugglers you see that throw back and forth to each other. Cheesy I know but it looks wicked nice when done right. We're also attempting under the leg throws to one another. Again, they look real nice once you nail them.

We've also managed to do interlocking weaves with one person on the ground and the other dominating overhead. Same with Buzzsaws and Pinwheels. I'm also entertaining the idea of trying to do interlocking ttn. I think it would look crazy if it can be done.

I'm not sure if thats what you're looking for but hey, an idea is an idea right?

well goin round my mates house again tonight and i have ye olde camera so will film the duo ticks we do plus some of mates freestyling cos there are minta at poi and non of em have the net!! boooo so i feel its time the world saw em :D
