Hiya,
Well I'm Dougie, I'm 26, m from Glasgow Scotland and I'm a poi spinner and staff enthusiast.
I'm still learning and self teaching but I am promoting poi and staff all over, especially through Scouting.
My 1st set of poi were cobra poi - which was probably a mistake as they hurt! But since then I have found training poi and since have learned much more
Looking forward to meeting people

Nice to meet you Dougie. What part of scouting are you involved in?
Im currently in Explorers. Soon be moving up to Network.
Glad to hear your advertising spinning to scouts. Im trying to do the same.
Theres not a camp I go on i dont take my poi  |

I am a DESC and Explorer Leader and I am voluntary campstaff at a site up here too.
We run camps and do YLT etc as well. We are currently thinking of planning a camp around poi / staff and circus skills :-)
Glad to hear you are trying to promote spinning through the sections as well! |
