I used to have this problem on my forum all the time. Just installing a few simple mods on to the forum reduced them down to a only a few a month and they wernt hard to deal with at all.
I noticed that you have the CAPTCHA enabled on register. which is a start...
Loads of people have developed spam bot mods for php bb2, quite a few are good, some are crap.. check out this list: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=427852
I dont know how good the tech admins are on here are but they are quite simple to impliment into the forum. Just ask if you need any help.
