to pass behind the back do forwards figure 8 with your right hand then twist your arm behind your back like an arm lock then just swap hands
I love behind the back transitions and entries to contact moves behind the back |

most glow staffs are rubbish for contact due to the lack of weight and grip, wooden/metal staffs are much easier to learn contact on providing there is enough weight at the ends to maintain good momentum.
this week I have mostly been learning double staff on staff contact and 3 staff juggling
(thanks to aussie chris and seb from fenfire) |

mouth carries are actually pretty easy but it does hurt your teeth if you have low padding,
did you see the wednesday night renegade? I was in the glowsuit on wednesday and friday. I was also in all Sebs workshops doing, fishtails, staff passing and juggling, and chris's staff on staff contact, although chris's workshop was more like a trick swop for me and him.
I popped into Sandys contact staff basics for 2 seconds to annoy him during his snes variations purely because he's too damn good
I was pretty busy most of the week and spent most evenings in the small dome.
but I came away with another couple of 3 staff juggling patterns under my belt, I'll be chasing seb next year (not ) |

my jugglings OK but I've hurt my thumb on my left hand so trying not to tax it too much I have been practicing magic until it gets better :L because cards aren't that heavy.
yeah I do doubles but I kinda skipped them from 1 to 3 but I do enough, practice stuff in parallel (symetric movements) that helped me a lot as you train your weak hand to keep in time with the strong one, also if you do pooi you have a very strong doubles fooundation, that's where I slip up because my poi is at best mediocre
(Of course I can still do staff as who needs hands :L ) |

honestly.. I haven't tried I only have 3 staffs the same. My 4 club juggling is a little ropey so my 4 staff would be similar. I can do 4 as crosses but it's VERY tricky I only have a couple of very basuc moves.
Anti spin with doubles isn't too hard, trammels and R-types are probably the easiest and if you use 1 metre short staffs you can do some really nice "inside" stuff as the wick can pass between your hand and body wth your arm straight out in front. things like buzzsaws and butterfly buzzsaws.
anti spin flowers with staffs are a pain for me I need to get some practice in on those |
