Ok. So I was playing around with my poi a few days ago and I realised that you can do a polyrithm TTN. It looks quite fantastic and definatly makes the TTN a bit more interesting...
Has anyone come across this move before? I havent ever heard of a p-r-TTN ...
AFTER A WEE BIT OF CONVO ON DMP:
ajclarke says:
Yeah I think I may be doing a 4 beat poly TTN.
Basically I keep one going slower then spin the other one out and in like normall TTN. BUt what I actually do is speed the "threader" poi up and make it do two spins on before each thread.
Is this the 4 beat version. And could it be that for this trick its harder to do less beats because the timing for your threading would need to be much greater... |

safe man me n my mates call it a 2:1, you can 2:1 in other places like hip reels and inside beats off your weave
but i think with the TTN your on about can also be done 3:1 if ur really fast lol |

I've seen someone do some crazy more than 2 beat split ttn but i couldnt work it out.
I'm not sure what yer on about though AJ :D
The Encyclopoidia DVD has the instructions for a 'double-stitch' which is a 4 beat non-split ttn.
Good move and easier than it looks. |
