Hey, my name is Natt and my stage name is Paraffin. i live in staffordshire in the uk and Ive been doing poi for three years now and this last year ive taken to fire poi and fire breathing. I'd like to thank this website for the brill tuitions as ive learnt a couple of new moves.

Welcome to the forums, its lovly here and i gather youv checked out the tuition pages :P there awsome i know, But if there isnt a tuition page for a certain trick ur tryin 2 do, just ask around and im sure someone nice will help you on ur way to perfecting the trick Smile

welcome Smile im josh also lookin at the freestyle vids mite give you ideas for moves but yeh just ask away we all nice ppl Very Happy

im the same TJ i have always wanted to fire breath but i read pele's article on hop about her fire brething accident and it quite franky put me off for life lol no offence to you natt i commend anyone who does it but it is well dangerous Smile can imagine it being a buzz tho.

fire breathing is absoloutley terrifying i do say but i dont think its as dangerous as people think. if you do it in the right conditions with the right stuff like paraffin then u wont usually have a problem and im usually pesamistic about things. then again ive never had a serious injury doing fire poi or fire breathing so i couldnt explain the danger. anyone have a clue where i can get insurance from for fire breathing and fire poi performance to the public? im performing in a september lol

Hi there Natt.
God fire breathing does scare the hell out of me, specially after i did read the hop article on it! but when i do it the buzz afterward is incredible!
Well I'm glad you learned some new stuff! always nice to learn some sweet new tricks!! I wish i could learn some of the tricks i want to dammit grumble
But yeah as TJ said don't forget to ask around on other tricks etc and check out the freestyle vids that Felix mentioned! they are the nuts!
