High everybody!
I'm Naadya, an almost-sixteen-year-old-girl from Holland. I love goa and psytrance, and the fist time I saw poi was at a goaparty (there are soo many here!). Well, poi is quite popular in the whole 'goascene', because it's great to spin to progressive electronic music with your head in the clouds!
As I just said, I've seen many people spin poi and I've always found it interesting. My boyfriend knew that, so he gave me my very own pair last week! :D I started practicing immediately, and after being hit in the head a million times, I finally got the whole vibe 'n shit haha. Now I can do various moves, not great or anything, but I'm progressing well and learning fast. ^^
I wanted to see for myself how I was doing, so I just made a video. It shows the moves I learned in the past week, so check out the vid-section too! ^^
I coulnd't have done it without your lessons, so thanks! I'm glad I found this website, with all the enthusiastic poi spinning people and nice, clear lessons.
