Ive been meaning to start spinning poi for a while now, but finally, after seeing someone spinning fire at the last festival type thing i went to ive decided to try my hand at it 
Whacked some string through 2 tennis balls and started going through the tutorials on this site (great help btw!)
So far ive got the butterfly and hip reels down, along with this random spinning that i think looks cool ^^
Trying to master shoulder reels, can do it one handed in each of my hands, but just cant put it together heh.
Any ways, im now looking at buying my first set, probably either:
The Cobra's
The fluffy things
"Classic Poi"
I'm leaning towards the classic one, as i can take the tails off, its the cheapest and has a adjustable cord.
So yea, thats me, hopefully my stay here will be an enjoyable one |

god you gotta love those first tennis ball poi that you make! dear god i remember the old relics from when i started(^_^)
