| Does anyone have any or know of the location of any tricks that are printable... with pictures, I'm going outside, and I don't have a computer outside... and I want something to look at and read instructions as I try to do the trick. |

Thing is theres this debate on whats a real straightjacket, i.e. Brist-o thinks he's got the idea:

well there is Zans version where it just tucks under the arm and brist-o's one which i call a straightjacket but technically its and inverted crosser, if you can do fw & bw barrel rolls you should be good |

ahhh i get ya ok so if you think your crosser is the bit in between fw and bw weave the straightjacket is the bit inbetween fw and bw barrel rolls so you have to do have the fw one to get in and half the backwards one to get out or vise versa.
so start in crank position for this part we just say they are spinning right on the upbeat on your right poi you send it up and down on the inside of your left hand and follow it with your right hand ( it takes ages to get that right)
tis a techy move and kinda pointless in a way but its still a good un |

I was just looking for anything I can't do... but I don't know the names of anything.
I can do the weave, and the one where you spin the poi above and bellow your waist... and the buzzsaw (?) and the butterfly... also I think I can do the 3 beat weave... I think that's what it's called
I'm trying to learn the one where you star with the butterfly and move the poi into one hand.
I'm also looking for some conversions or transitions to and from moves as well. |

my friend, we have a wealth and multitude of names and tricks on the tuition pages!

Click the links in the sidebar!
For a good transition from butterfly type moves to weave types, the 'wrist stop transition is great stuff. |

Oh cool thanks.
I'm still looking for things on paper as well.
EDIT:
Okay, I looked through the beginner video's and I currently know these:
* The Butterfly
* The Weave (1 Hand FW)
* The Weave (1 Hand BW)
* 3 Beat Weave (FW)
I can also do the buzzsaw and a VERY different version of the Reel Turns, so I would still like to learn the reel turn.
Just shows me how much I don't know at all. lol |
