i can do three beat weaves and other such tricks, but am having trouble in doing the butterfly trick. any tips??? anything i might be doing wrong?? Confused nutty help

My only advice in to offset your hands, lets say have your top hand slightly forward from your left. Also, you know bell ringers in churches and cathedrals and places where bell ringers gather....*COUGH*

Well when I butterfly the movement is more like that of a bell ringer, both hands in a simultaneous up/down motion.
