Linking them does take a little practice... Try it with one hand first, to get the feel for the motion.
Trick I found with putting these two together is that most of the movement comes from turning your body. If you time it right, the poi should kinda do their own thing.
Hope that's some help... |

Ohhh, I think I see where you're having trouble... Try overemphasising every arm movement. It should help to get the motion, and then you can smarten it up later on.
If the shoulder bit is giving you difficulty, practicing windmills should help you get a better feel for the arm movements behind your head. |

| rells should now be name'd 'problems' or 'difficulties', because everytime i see someone write 'i'm having difficulties with', it is promptly followed by '..with hip reels' :P |

oh no i can do the hip reels and the shoulder reels i just cannot seem to get the hang of linking them both together which is quite annoying so i am going to speak to a friend who has a friend that calls themself a pro in this wonderful world of poi and i am gonna get them to show me and if they cant then they suck and i can ************ get the drift |
