I do a pretty decent looking one in this vid about 1 minute in, and a couple more at about 1:25.
It's basically going from forwards weave to reverse weave and then back to forwards weave -- except you perform the entire move in a large sweeping circle.
It's tricky at first, but it's a great looking move when you get to grips with it! :D |

To start with, get comfy with both forward and reverse 3-beat weaves. Then, when you're confident with those, start practicing 180 weave turns. Get used to how it feels turning into a reverse weave and back again.
A fountain is basically a 180 weave turn, and then another 180 weave turn back to where you started.
Once your're comfy with the 180 turns, you can try and change this into a fountain -- try this:
- Start from a normal 3-beat weave.
- When you go into the turn (on whichever side feels most comfortable) bring it down low.
- Then come up into a normal level reverse 3-beat.
- Hold your hands up high for the second turn (it feels a little like a couple of windmill beats).
- Then come back down into a regular forwards 3-beat weave.
And that should be a fountain.
Then it's just a matter of practicing the circular motion.
Oh, and start by turning your whole body. You can work on doing it in wallplane (non-turning) when you get the hang of the motion.
Erm... Hope all of that makes sense. If you're still confused, feel free to ask. |

ahh but the real question is do you put a windmill in it or not?
I learnt it with no windmill and am now trying to put it back in :( |

I don't think it really matters.
Actually, IMHO, pausing for windmill beats kinda breaks up the flow of it. |

well all you have to learn is a smooth change over from fw to bw and vise versa. then the swap points are and 12 and 6 o'clock if ya get me so it goes in a big circle |
