Can you thread the needle in reverse?... if so then you can do normal thread the needle, stall each side then be in reverse thread the needle, looks so funky.

It is unbelievable the combinations that you can learn through knowing a reverse move. Another example of this is a spiral wrap, if you can go from 3 beat forwards to backwards then when you transition you can pause your hands and just let the poi wrap around them, once wrapped either part the hands or twist your wrists to the opposite direction and they unravel, looks so smart...

Buzzsaw is also a great move and looks spectacular if you can get down on yer knees and do it. Can you buzzsaw?

Theres so many transitions and turns to learn its never ending, play with the moves...Give them style and above all make them your own.

if its wrist stops that your into the this will give you serious wrist stop practice, and you already know the moves it involves.

Start with a butterfly, the trick is to change the direction of both poi by using wrist stops or wraps. This will take you into reverse butterfly, the stops will take place on the underside of the wrist back to forwards butterfly, looks great on video.

Also lift the leg up, knee bent giving the thigh, a great place to wrap/stop on to change the direction.

I still can't get infinites. They're difficult. Very difficult. Razz

Though I do know someone who's very good at them. Have you seen these videos? Wink
