Well, where to start....probably where I found out poi.

I used to live down south, and went to a festival called Beautiful days over 2 years ago. Whilst there I saw all manner of spinners, and just knew I wanted to get involved.

Unfortunatly I couldn't afford anything there but when i got home I started out with sock poi, then bought some pretty bad quality poi, just to get started. There used to be a lot of spinners where I lived, in Southampton, however now in Northwich in Cheshire, it's harder to find people to spin with.

Ummmm me, I'm 18, at mid cheshire college, a girl lol, love going to gigs, write for a couple of magazines and websites reviewing gigs, that's a lot of fun.

So yeah, hi poi poi people (ooo alliteration, nice...)

I don't think I'm very good, I really want to buy some good equipment and improve my skills. So, if anyone in Northwich fancys a spin then, go ahead!!

hey there!! well, welcome to the site firstly! and thanks for the in depth intro!
I'm Dave and unfortunately I live to far out of the way for my own good really! (Kent)
Well if ever ya need help at all, Felix, our local legend, is a legend.
He's bad ass at the old poi! and can teach you many good things!
Or You can just ask us all on the forum, we'll be able to help you out with different methods and such, plus theres always the video tuition!

Sorry I don't know Emily street but it's Northwich, it's not excactly the biggest place in the world.
