So I was wandering around YouTube, and I found this!

A demo done by a martial artist of poi being used as a defensive weapon. Oh, and unless I'm mistaken, he's using a set of PoiPoi cobras.  |

Kill Bill 1 was the best one I seen, the little Japanese girl with the swinging ball and blade....best fight scene ever!!!

yeh i specifically watched kill bill the other day to get some ideas for rope dart lol is well mega.
I have seen some vid somewhere of martial art poi they were like flags but metal and the flags were really thin metal so mega sharp :S i presume. |

| I don't think it looks much like a weapon! He's just doing simple moves fast, no strikes or defensive actions. Oh well! |

yeah looked nice and if there where knifes on the end it kinda be like using err i 4get the name (bah) well this http://www.martialartsmart.net/45-076.html cept less tame. there pretty feebel used 2 inflict small wonds, hit criticat areas or ensnare the opponent.
but at the end of the day u come up againts sum1 with a spear ur pretty much had, so lets not fight nd concentrate on making pretty colors (not in the spltterings of red) with poi ^_^ |

I know a dude who does Judo, he represented England at one point, but this bandit guy from Germany elbowed him in the groin when my friend had him pinned and he couldn't compete any more...sore losers man |
