Ok, alot of the problem i find is not knowing where and how i should be progressing from the tricks i already know.
So i thought maybe others have the same trouble.
Im hoping others might be able to help those in doubt about where best to progress next

So i'll start off.

Just to give some background info so people can see where and how i/others should be progressing ill list what i know.

2bt forward
Weave forward
butterfly (and btb)
One handed butterfly (and btb)
Hip turns and hip reels
Shoulder turns and shoulder reels
Standard windmills
Angel wings
Simple wraps

As well as that, I'd try and get low windmills sussed. They're a great transitioning move, and feel lovely to turn with.

If you close your eyes when you do a move and see it in your mind, it helps with the mussle memory to make moves seccond nature, and helps with flow...

it's how i learnt to 5bt weave.. my eyes were causing the issues it would seem.. some thing to so with poi flying towards my face .. if i can't see them then i don't try to run away from my arms!

Soft fluffy poi that don't hurt help too. It's easier to resist the duck reflex if you know it won't hurt if you don't.
