Well?
What has poi done for you lately?

I've found through poi and progressing through a new trick every week or two I have much more of a 'can-do', determined attitude to just about everything, be it practical problems or video games.

I also like typing in 'poipoi' using the ring, middle and first finger of my right hand. Its so fun :D

I do the same thing with the right handed poipoi with the same fingers! It's quick and it's easy!

Nah Poi has opened me up to a really fantastic group of friends in London whom I lurve very muchly!
As well as getting involved with more juggling stuff like staff spinning, fire breathing, rope darts, Meteors, Juggling, Devil Sticks and diablo! All this because I took up a keen interest in poi!

Plus it keeps ya nice and fit at the end of the day!

it's given me focus.. it's very much like my pole work.. it doesn't judge me it can never leave me but it will always be a source of comfort.

it centres me when i'm fussy headed and it cheers me up when i am down.. it will never leave me for someone more attractive or nicer. They also give me something to do when my mates are out on the lash!

I'd rather have 50 sets of poi than 100 hangovers with nothing to show for the money..

god i've gone all hallmark.

...Blame my memory. Makes me wish I had one of those memory warehouse things! What film was that from? The dude who could go go into his own mind and it was like a warehouse?!

Ah that's cool! Great way to keep in shape at the end of the day! Even better if you like doing it(^_^)

Kat, you're an ex-pole dancer? Now that's cool! Smile

Lately, I've discovered that if you've been sat at a desk for a while weave meltdowns are a wonderful way to get all your vertebrae back into the right places. Smile
(Especially in the lumbar/lower back area).

Their out there felix, I know a few who are complete noobends, one of which actually thinks he invented vertical stalls and I was like "Lay off the drugs dude, your getting visions of grandeur".

I couldn't give a crap who did what just that its here and its for everyone, not everyone I know shares my opinion. Whilst I practice and practice I still get told by people that I'm still novice when I can do a damn sight more than them movement wise.

My friends do very little to inspire me anymore because its a backstabbing world that we live in.
